Stein Valley Nlakapamux School Lytton First Nations have always had highstandards when it came to the education of their children. There will always be people who will stand firm to ensure that their children will receive the best education possible. The Stein Valley School Board has a long record in ensuring that excellence is achieved. Lytton has produced Chief and Council members that have taken on various governments to maintain the educational rights and titles of their people. Parents, despite challenges and hardships, still maintain a high standard for their children. Students with their own challenges both personal and academic strive to achieve academic excellence with the support of grandparents, elders, parents, teachers, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters and community members. We can always count on someone to step up and support any and every student that might need it. Our people still maintain the tradition that all children are our responsibility to love and care for. With this tradition of prayers and this long arm of love and care that embraces all children, our children will continue to thrive and achieve their goals in life.
With much hope and great anticipation Opal Charters-Voght Principal
